Your download

It's on its way.

The download link is in your inbox already, or will be within a minute or two. If it isn't there, check spam — that's where it is about nine times out of ten.

Save it somewhere you'll find it again

Download the file rather than reading it from the email. On a phone, save it to your files or your books app. The link in the email won't live forever; the file you saved will.

Cook this one first

Don't start at page one. Go to the five-minute chapter and make something tonight, while you're still curious. The books that get used are the ones opened in the first two days.

Two things I'd ask

When you make something, photograph it — badly, on a phone, in bad kitchen light. That's the proof that means something to the next person, and it's worth more than any review I could write about myself.

And if something doesn't work, tell me. Which recipe, what happened. That's the most useful email I get.
